LISA AND CHARLOTTE– SALON DIRECTORS
We have worked together in the hair and beauty industry for over 20 years, accruing many qualifications. We started our training at a Large city centre salon and are qualified in classic and advanced cutting techniques, taking our skills to a very high standard. We both love all aspects of hairdressing but we also have our own areas in which we specialise. Lisa has a passion for hair up and fashion makeup and enjoys making the brides day extra special! Charlotte loves colouring and has a vast knowledge of many different techniques
HELEN – STYLE DIRECTOR
Hi Im Helen I have been in the industry since 1984 and cover all aspects of hairdressing and enjoy a challenge! I have attained my level three and am I am also a qualified assessor which involves me teaching at York College one day a week . I love hairdressing and look forward to seeing you soon.
AMANDA – SENIOR STYLIST
I have been hairdressing for 20 years and started my career in Chester after qualifying on a City and Guilds hair and beauty course. I have also been on many advanced professional courses. I have worked with some interesting and influential hairdressers picking up a varied collection of texturising techniques. I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing but particularly cutting and foil highlighting, and seeing the style developing through these processes. I hope to continue producing creative and innovative work for many years to come!
ANISSA – SENIOR STYLIST
I have been in the hairdressing industry for over 15 years and have been a senior stylist at Sensu since the salon opened in 2006. I began my hairdressing career as a Saturday girl at the age of 15, continuing my training at a top city centre salon where I attained my nvq level 1 and 2. I have attended courses on mens cutting, advanced colour techniques and colour correction.
KIRSTIE – SENIOR STYLIST
I have been hairdressing for 11 years and started my training in a York Salon and York College where I achieved level one and two. Since qualifying I have been on over 18 different courses, including advanced cutting and colouring. I have always known from an early age that hairdressing is what I wanted to do as a career and still feel that way today! I specialise in cutting and colouring and my favourite part of the job is making people feel good about themselves.
JULIE – SENIOR STYLIST
I have been hairdressing for over 20 years and trained at a top City Centre Salon. I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing but my favourites are the classic bob and layered looks. My job is very satisfying as I can get instant results and can really make a difference to someones image.
Vicky Fay – Senior Stylist
I have been hairdressing for over 20 years and I have worked in many city centre salons I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing and have attended many courses covering all techniques. My speciality is precision cutting.
Laura – Graduate Stylist
Hi my name is Laura and I have been working at Sensu for 4 years now and I love it! I started working on Saturdays and now I am a fully qualified graduate stylist. I have been on several courses now which I really enjoyed. I love learning new things and particularly enjoy colouring and seeing the transformations you can achieve. I look forward to seeing you soon !
Sophie – Graduate Stylist
Hi my name is Sophie. I have been working at Sensu for 4 years and I really enjoy it! I started my career at Sensu on work experience then began my hairdressing apprenticeship for 2 years and qualified in 2011 as a graduate stylist. I have been on a number of courses which I really enjoyed and feel that I have learnt a lot! I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing and particularly enjoy hair ups and making people look and feel glamorous. I look forward to seeing you soon!
